How to Use

1. Place the spirit lamp on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface away from combustible materials.

2. Fill with the appropriate spirit fuel in accordance with the lamp manufacturer's instructions. Never overfill.

3. Check that the wick assembly is correctly fitted and the exterior of the lamp is dry before lighting.

4. Light the wick carefully and adjust the flame to a suitable working height.

5. Gently soften the dopping wax, avoiding excessive heat or direct flame contact with the gemstone.

6. Extinguish the flame using the appropriate snuffer or cap, if designed for that purpose, and allow the lamp to cool before handling or storing.
