Diamond Polishing Paste

Our diamond paste is a high-performance polishing compound.

It consists of moncrystaline natural diamond powder available in a variety of microns/mesh suspended in a water-based carrier.

Diamond being the hardest known material, our polishing pastes can be used polish/shine the softest gems to the hardest stones.

There are many ways to achieve your desired polishing results and techniques will vary and do so depending on who is providing the information.

However making sure you are using a consistent, high quality diamond paste as this will help ensure consistent results.

Our rules for polishing your stones.
1 - Keep polishing area clean.
2 - Dedicate a polishing tool for each mesh & store each tool in a seperate container.
3 - Polishing pastes will gradly impregnate into absorbant bobs & burs  like felt, wood and hair and will improve with use.
4 - Keep your hands, tools and workplace clean between the changeover of diffent powders/pastes.
5 - Apply our diamond paste directly to your tool for polishing gems when using manual or hand held equipment.
6 - Check scratch marks under bright quality light before starting to polish. Make sure to rotate your gems as this helps increase stock removal. Regularly dry/clean your gems as this shows when old unpolished marks are gone or ares that may have been missed.
POINT TO NOTE: do not rush your polishing and check each stage as you go.

Keeping your burs and stones cooled with water is essential whilst polishing to stop the burs overheating and stones cracking.

Ideal for use with rotary tools and flex-shaft machines and are compatible with standard/adjustable rotary tool collets.

Please follow our safety guidelines whilst using our products:

• To protect your eyes always wear safety glasses.
• A P2/N95-grade mask is strongly advised whilst grinding/polishing to avoid breathing airborne particles into your respiratory system.
• It is recommended that you use a rotary hand tool with a flex shaft whilst working with/near water to avoid the chance of electrocution.
• Please observe/supervise children at all times if working with any of our products.
